A high-level conference on "Water, Mountains, and Glaciers of the Kyrgyz Republic: A Sustainable Future" was held in Bishkek, with the participation of Ayil Bank. This event brought together representatives from government agencies, international organizations, and scientists to discuss pressing issues of sustainable development and natural resource conservation.

As part of its environmental commitments and ESG initiatives, the bank donated a HEUCKE ICE DRILL, valued at 4,473 euros, to the Adygen Scientific Station. This equipment will enable high-precision research on the glaciers of the Northern Tien Shan and ensure regular monitoring of their condition.

With its help, the scientific station will be able to conduct systematic measurements on the Adygen, Panfilov, and Ak-Sai glaciers, providing continuous access to data on glacier mass balance. Previously, researchers faced limitations due to the lack of necessary equipment, which hindered the expansion of monitoring to new areas.

Tilek Alidjanov, Chairman of the Board of OJSC "Ayil Bank," emphasized the importance of supporting scientific projects as part of the bank's environmental responsibility:

"Scientific research on glaciers in the context of climate change is a contribution to the sustainable future of Kyrgyzstan. We are pleased to support experts who are working to strengthen the ecological and water security of the country. By implementing our ESG approach, we strive to contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the development of Kyrgyzstan's scientific potential."
The conference provided a forum for discussing climate challenges and highlighted the importance of collaboration among government bodies, the scientific community, and businesses to preserve the country's mountain ecosystems.
