GDP of Kyrgyzstan from January to November 2025 compared to the same period in 2024 increased by 10%

The GDP of Kyrgyzstan in January-November 2025 compared to the same period in 2024 increased by 10.2%

The total estimate of the gross domestic product for January-November 2025 amounted to 1 trillion 628.6 billion soms, which is 10.2% more than in the same period of the previous year, according to the National Statistical Committee data.

Industry. A significant increase in production volumes was recorded in the pharmaceutical sector (1.9 times), as well as in the production of rubber and plastic products, building materials (34.5%), wooden and paper products, printing (33.7%), food products and beverages (27.8%), chemical products (21.5%), textile and garment industry (9.6%), as well as in the extraction of minerals (15.3%).

The construction sector also showed positive results, with a volume increase of 29%, wholesale and retail trade increased by 9.5%, and agriculture showed a growth of 2%.
For January-November of the current year (compared to December of the previous year), the increase in consumer prices and tariffs across the republic amounted to 8.3%. In particular, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 8.9%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 7.9%, non-food goods by 7%, while tariffs for services provided to the population increased by 9.1%.

Price and tariff increases were observed in all regions of the country, with the highest increase (10.7%) registered in the city of Osh, related to the rise in prices for non-food goods. Chui region noted the highest increase in food products and non-alcoholic beverages (12.0%), while in Issyk-Kul region, prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 14.2%. In Talas region, service tariffs also rose by 10.6%.

The volume of external and mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with goods in January-October 2025 amounted to 12,803.5 million US dollars, which is 10.6% less compared to the same period in 2024. Export supplies decreased by 38.2%, while imports decreased by 0.3%.

Among the EAEU countries, the largest share of mutual trade is with Russia (64.3%) and Kazakhstan (33.2%).
