
The Kyrgyz diplomat was joined by representatives of the U.S. National Security Council
Marco Rubio, serving as the U.S. Secretary of State, held a meeting with Aibek Moldogaziev, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting took place during a formal reception, to which Rubio invited the Kyrgyz ambassador. Key issues regarding Kyrgyz-American relations were discussed, as well as plans for joint activities for the upcoming year.
A meeting between Moldogaziev and Ricky Gill, Senior Director for Central Asia at the U.S. National Security Council, was also recorded.
It is worth noting that this year Donald Trump held a summit with the leaders of all Central Asian states in Washington in the "C5+1" format. As a result of the meeting, important agreements were reached, and the business communities of the countries signed significant trade and industrial contracts.
