
The agreements previously reached in Baku were confirmed by the parties
On December 24, a meeting took place in Bishkek, attended by Meder Tumanov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Samad Gasanov, Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in Central Asian countries. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The negotiations focused on the implementation of agreements reached during the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, which took place on December 8, 2025, in Baku, where issues of economic and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan were discussed.
As a result of the meetings, the parties outlined key steps for the development of bilateral cooperation, including increasing trade volumes, expanding industrial cooperation, and activating the work of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
