Delegates from government institutions, industry associations, and representatives of businesses from both Russia and Kyrgyzstan gathered for the meeting.
This event served as a platform to discuss important issues related to bilateral economic cooperation, develop recommendations, and exchange initiatives between government structures and the business community.
Welcoming remarks were made to the participants by:
- Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic, Ainur Samanov,
- Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Iskender Asylkulov,
- Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Damirbek Bikulov,
- Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mamasadyk Bakirov.
Ainur Samanov shared relevant data on trade and economic interaction between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as outlined ways to increase trade turnover.
During the meeting, Anton Vetoshkin, Deputy Chairman of the RKFR Board, presented a mechanism for supporting projects in the field of industrial cooperation within the EAEU, which is being implemented by the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Insaf Galiev, First Deputy Head of the Investment Development Agency of Tatarstan, answered questions from Kyrgyz colleagues via video conference and spoke about opportunities to participate in the international economic forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum," scheduled for 2026.
It is planned that meetings of the Business Club will be held on a regular basis.
