In Bishkek, an event titled "New Architecture of Investment Policy: Partnership of the State, Business, and Investors" took place, during which participants discussed relevant proposals for improving law enforcement practices and creating a more comfortable investment environment in Kyrgyzstan.

As part of this meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the General Prosecutor's Office, and representatives of the business community.

The main goal of the memorandum is to develop partnerships between the parties with an emphasis on improving the investment climate in the country, protecting the rights of investors and entrepreneurs, as well as simplifying law enforcement processes and exchanging information on important issues. This also includes enhancing transparency and trust between government bodies, businesses, and civil society institutions.

The Director of the National Investment Agency, Ravshan Sabirov, spoke about the new norms of the investment law and the updated legislation on public-private partnerships, which ensure the protection of investors' rights, including protection against expropriation, and facilitate business interaction with government structures.

Bektursun Kenjematov, head of the legal support department for investor protection at the National Agency, presented a new vision of investment policy based on partnership between the state, business, and investors. The new investment law aims to protect investors' rights and increase transparency in all processes related to investments.

The First Deputy General Prosecutor, Baymurza Maatov, discussed the ongoing reforms aimed at creating transparent business rules and strengthening trust in state institutions. The Prosecutor's Office operates not only through oversight mechanisms but also through dialogue and prevention of offenses.

Askar Sydykov, Executive Director of the International Business Council, emphasized the importance of protecting private property and the rule of law for doing business in Kyrgyzstan. He expressed support for the signing of the memorandum and readiness to contribute proposals for improving conditions for business and investment.

Among the proposals put forward by the International Business Council are changes to the performance indicators of government bodies, so that more of them, including law enforcement agencies, are involved in issues of economic development and attracting investments.

It was also proposed to conduct a comprehensive analysis of criminal cases initiated against entrepreneurs, assess the damage caused to businesses, and study trends in law enforcement practices.

Based on the analysis conducted by the International Business Council, it is proposed to develop real measures to protect property rights, which is the foundation for economic growth in any country.

Askar Sydykov noted that the International Business Council has a number of developments in this area and they will assist in their implementation within the framework of the signed memorandum.
