Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan Agreed to Increase Trade Volume Between the Countries

On December 24, a meeting took place between Meder Tumanov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Samad Gasanov, Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in Central Asia. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan.

During the negotiations, issues related to the implementation of previously reached agreements, which were discussed at the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation held on December 8, 2025, in Baku, were considered.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on further measures to strengthen bilateral relations, including increasing trade turnover, developing industrial cooperation, and activating the work of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
