As part of a road safety initiative called "Behind the Wheel," traffic safety enforcement officers conducted checks at the city entrances.
As a result of the raid, not only were drivers found to be in a state of alcohol intoxication, but there were also individuals operating vehicles without the necessary documents and driver's licenses. In accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, appropriate measures were taken against the violators.
“Such raids will continue with the aim of reducing the number of traffic accidents, increasing driver accountability, and ensuring the safety of citizens,” the representatives of the service noted.
