In the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region, Kahar Eshkoziev, a local resident, is engaged in breeding unique cows that were delivered to Kyrgyzstan from Scotland by airplane. He specializes in the Aberdeen Angus breed, known for its meat quality. Starting with two calves, his herd now numbers over 50 individuals, and the total livestock count is 130 cows.

Kahar, who has been involved in breeding livestock for over 30 years, shared that at the beginning of his career he kept dairy cows, but over the past 15 years he has switched to meat production. The first Aberdeen Angus calves were acquired in 2013 as part of an international program when his farm was selected among large farms in the country. At that time, due to financial constraints, he was only able to purchase two calves.

The breed adapts well to the local climate, and Eshkoziev has not encountered serious problems in their maintenance. He noted that cows of this breed are undemanding in their diet and can eat both hay and compound feed. Every year, he takes the cows to the summer pastures in the direction of the Toguz-Toro district, where they quickly acclimatize to temperature fluctuations.

Although Aberdeen Angus cows produce relatively little milk—only 7–8 liters per milking—this milk is characterized by high fat content and is excellent for calves, which contributes to their rapid weight gain. This spring, Kahar sold calves that he raised to 5–6 months for prices ranging from 60,000 to 70,000 soms, which brought him good profit. With proper care, bulls can reach a live weight of 1200 kg, and after slaughter, they provide up to 750 kg of meat. One bull was sold for a record 397,000 soms, which sparked interest among other farmers.

Eshkoziev also emphasized that the transition to quality livestock breeding is a necessity of the time; however, he notes a lack of breeding animals in the market. He explained that the growing livestock population in the country faces the problem of insufficient pastures, and many experts advise reducing the number of livestock while increasing its quality. However, the availability of breeding livestock for the population remains limited both in quantity and price.

Kahar suggested that the government or the Ministry of Agriculture organize direct purchases of breeding livestock from abroad and create centers in the south and north of the country, which would simplify the purchasing process for farmers. In his opinion, this could lead to an increase in the number of breeding animals and a decrease in prices.

Kahar Eshkoziev lives in the village of Ülgü and founded his breeding farm called "Bakyt" many years ago. In conditions where the price of meat in the market reaches 700–800 soms, he plans to continue increasing the herd of meat cattle.
