During the discussion on the situation with vacancies in the education sector, it was reported that out of 151 kindergartens in the region, 43 institutions are experiencing a shortage of leaders. The reasons for this situation are related to social factors. Currently, the average salary of a kindergarten teacher is about 35,000 soms, while a kindergarten director earns approximately 25,000 soms. The low salary level has led to a shortage of candidates for leadership positions in the past two years.
At present, there are unfilled director positions in 9 schools in the region.
As for vocational lyceums, there are 6 such educational institutions operating in the Naryn region. Lyceum No. 87 has two branches — in the villages of Kazan-Kuygan and Kulanak, however, both branches are currently not fully operational.
Currently, the possibility of converting the branch building in the village of Kulanak into a kindergarten is being considered. As for the building in the village of Kazan-Kuygan, its condition has been deemed emergency; since children from two villages come here for education, it is planned to propose the construction of a new school in this area.
