Gulayim Keneshova, living in the Jeti-Oguz district, assures that her energy knows no bounds, and she is always looking for new hobbies.

Her biography began on December 4, 1999, in the village of Chyrak, located in the Issyk-Kul region.

Today, she is married and resides in the village of Ak-Döbö, being the mother of two girls and working as an educator in a local kindergarten.

After completing her education up to the 11th grade, Gulayim underwent 10 months of training in the specialty of "seamstress-cutter" at vocational college No. 94 in Bishkek. In the same year, she also studied the profession of "cook-pastry chef" at college No. 91, while working in sewing and confectionery workshops to gain practical experience. Later, she completed courses in leather goods production with Zamira Moldosheva.

Currently, Gulayim is in her second year at the I. Biibosunov College in Karakol. She actively engages in handicrafts, painting, and creating bas-reliefs, selling her products.

“I have been familiar with handicrafts since childhood. My mother sewed, and from the 3rd or 4th grade, I tried to use her sewing machine. There are also many talented people in my family: my brothers are artists, and my maternal great-grandfather was a well-known woodworker. I believe that this talent is passed down from generation to generation,” shares Gulayim.

She started by making leather bags and necklaces, and after getting married and having children, she switched to sewing beldemchi (national skirts) and bas-reliefs. She purchases materials for her work from construction stores, and the prices for bas-reliefs vary from 6000 soms depending on the size. In the future, Gulayim plans to create large-format works for walls.

According to her, after work and on weekends, she continues to engage in creativity: “Despite the lack of time, I try to fulfill orders. Sometimes I perform at celebrations and sing ‘Zhar-zhar.’

Gulayim manages social media, where she shares her creativity. Once, she posted a video about baking bread, after which she received numerous orders and now also sells bread baked in an oven.

She currently lives in the village with her husband's parents: mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, husband, and two daughters. Gulayim's husband is the middle child in the family. She notes that in five years in her new family, she has been very lucky, and everyone supports her.

“I am full of energy and constantly looking for new opportunities: ‘What else can I do, what can I learn?’” she says.

In the future, Gulayim dreams of having her own house, creating a separate workshop, and organizing courses for girls and women to teach them the craft.
