The National Bank reminded clients of their right to carefully review the loan terms before signing.
According to him, the client's potential before obtaining a loan includes the ability to take a draft contract with them and review it in a comfortable setting.
“Consumers have the right to take the loan agreement home for a thorough analysis of the terms. Documents should not be signed in haste. It is important to carefully review the rates, fees, and rewards before making a decision,” emphasized Baktybekov.
Bank employees are also required to provide complete and accessible information about financial products such as loans, deposits, and bank cards.
Additionally, when applying for a loan, clients should receive a document with key information that clearly outlines the main terms: the interest rate, payment schedule, as well as the presence of collateral or guarantees.
The National Bank added that the relationships between credit institutions and clients are based on civil law norms. By signing the contract, the client assumes certain obligations, so it is extremely important to carefully familiarize themselves with all the terms, including possible consequences for late payments.
