In order to raise awareness among civil servants, the center organized a series of preventive activities.
The director of the center, Umutkan Chokmorova, conducted a lecture in which she detailed the ways of transmitting HIV and hepatitis viruses, as well as modern prevention methods and the importance of regular medical examinations. She emphasized the necessity of vaccination against hepatitis B, considering the increasing number of cases.
As a result of the two days of activities, the following outcomes were achieved:
- 106 employees were tested for HIV and hepatitis B and C;
- 65 employees received the first dose of the hepatitis B vaccine;
- 32 employees underwent an electrocardiogram;
- 31 employees underwent an ultrasound examination.
