The new spin-off of the popular Netflix sports show "Physical: Asia," titled "Physical: Welcome To Mongolia," will bring together participants from Mongolia, South Korea, and Australia against the backdrop of picturesque Mongolian landscapes, where they will develop friendly relationships.
The short reality series, created by the production company TEO and led by renowned producer Kim Tae-ho (known for works such as Hangout With Yoo, which has been airing since 2019), premiered on Netflix with the first two episodes on Christmas Eve. Two more episodes were released on December 31, and the show is set to premiere in Singapore on January 2.
The spin-off features Kim Dong-hyun and Kim Jae-hon, known as Amotti, representing the South Korean team, as well as Bayarsaihan Orkhonbayar and Lkhagva-Ochir Erdene-Ochir, who form the Mongolian team, alongside Australian strongman Eddie Williams.
This project is the result of a promise made during the show Physical: Asia (2025), when the captain of the Mongolian team, Orkhonbayar, promised to host the South Korean team in his country, and the captain of the South Korean team, Kim Dong-hyun, promised to visit Mongolia if his team won.
According to Netflix, "Physical: Welcome To Mongolia" offers viewers a unique travel experience focused on local traditions, with the itinerary developed by Orkhonbayar himself.
In the mini-series, viewers will see places popular among locals, including traditional eateries and cultural landmarks. It is also expected that Lkhagva-Ochir, a Cirque du Soleil artist, will give a special circus performance during the trip.
The show's poster also features Australian strongman Eddie Williams, who will be part of the project in traditional Mongolian attire.
