Warner Bros. has decided to reject Paramount's offer, which valued the assets at $108 billion. Instead, it aims to finalize a deal with Netflix, as reported by Meduza.

The board of directors of Warner Bros. Discovery rejected the proposal from Paramount Skydance, urging shareholders not to sell their shares at $30 per share and not to abandon the deal with Netflix. It is specified that the Paramount offer will be valid until January 8, 2026.

For several months, Netflix and Paramount have been actively negotiating the acquisition of Warner Bros. assets.

On December 5, Netflix announced its intention to acquire Warner Bros. and the streaming platform HBO Max for $82.7 billion, which amounts to $27.75 per share.

Shortly after that, Paramount made an offer to buy the entire Warner Bros. company, including channels such as CNN, TNT Sports, and Discovery, for an amount exceeding $107 billion.
