The streaming platform Netflix announced on Wednesday the return of the popular fitness series "Physical: Asia" with a new Mongolian spin-off at the end of this month.

The spin-off, tentatively titled "Physical: Welcome to Mongolia," will be presented in a reality show format. It will feature competitions between Mongolian and Korean participants who took part in the final challenge of "Physical: Asia" during their stay in Mongolia.

Among the show's participants will be well-known personalities such as former mixed martial arts fighter Kim Dong Hyun, crossfit athlete Amotti, wrestling champion Orkhonbayar Bayarsaihan, and acrobat from Cirque du Soleil Lkhagva-Ochir Erdene-Ochir.

In one of the episodes, Netflix showcased Lkhagva-Ochir preparing meals for his friends at his home in Mongolia.

The program is also expected to feature a special guest.

The first two episodes of the new four-part show will be released on December 24, with the remaining two on December 31.

The series "Physical: Asia," in which 48 athletes from eight different countries of the Asian continent competed in agility, speed, and skill, has won the hearts of millions of viewers and has become one of the most popular non-English shows on Netflix.
