The planned forum will be an important milestone in the decade-long existence of the CAREC Institute and coincides with Mongolia's preparation for its chairmanship in this program in 2026, according to information from the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia.
During the forum, which will focus on discussing regional investment issues, infrastructure modernization, and the expansion of trade corridors, the participation of more than 300 representatives from various governments of the participating countries, the private sector, and international organizations is expected.

Ganbat Zhigjid, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia, opened the forum, speaking alongside China's Minister of Finance Lan Foan and Pakistan's Minister of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal. In his speech, Ganbat emphasized the significance of this forum for deepening economic and investment cooperation in the region. He also noted that Mongolia is committed to active collaboration with all CAREC member countries to create a stable, prosperous, and investment-friendly region.
