During the event, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mongolia to Korea, Sukbold Sukhee, emphasized that the history of interaction between the two countries spans over a thousand years, starting from the year 995. He also noted that modern cooperation between Mongolia and Korea has significantly increased, as evidenced by a trade turnover reaching 670 million dollars and an increased number of direct flights to 100 per week. Currently, more than 17,000 students from Mongolia are studying in Korea.
The embassy expressed its intention to continue developing strategic partnerships with Korea in areas such as mineral extraction, artificial intelligence, and other high technologies.

During the reception, the rich culture of Mongolia was showcased: from calligraphy to performances on the traditional instrument morin khuur, as well as concerts by the student choir of the International Mongolian School and renowned opera performers from Mongolia.
