Mongolia Tops World Ranking in Memory Development After Winning World Championship

The athletes of Mongolia have taken the top position in the global memory ranking.

At the 34th World Memory Championship, which was the final event of 2025, the Mongolian team secured first place in the overall team standings. This marks the seventh victory for the country in intellectual sports over the past 15 years of participation, confirming its status as one of the leading nations in this discipline.

The national team, consisting of 37 participants, won 66 medals out of a possible 90: among them were 27 gold, 21 silver, and 22 bronze medals. Additionally, Mongolian intellectuals were awarded 10 trophies.

Thanks to this outstanding success, Mongolia ranked first in the world ranking, surpassing countries such as Australia, China, Vietnam, and Algeria, which also made it into the top five.
