From December 12 to 14, 2025, Vietnam hosted the 34th World Memory Championship (WMC 2025), which opened in Ho Chi Minh City and became one of the largest "arenas for brain development" in the world.

The Mongolian team, demonstrating outstanding results, won 66 out of 90 possible medals, allowing them to become world memory champions for the seventh time.

These competitions became an important event as the host implemented new technologies while preserving the heritage of this sport.

The WMC 2025 championship featured 290 athletes from nearly 30 countries and regions, including leading nations such as the United Kingdom, Germany, the USA, Mongolia, China, India, and Japan, known for their achievements in memory.

Participants competed in 10 of the most challenging categories that tested their speed, accuracy, and mental endurance, including disciplines such as memorizing abstract images and spoken numbers.

The World Memory Championship, founded in 1991 by Tony Buzan and Raymond Keene, has become the oldest and most respected tournament in this field, aimed at expanding the boundaries of human cognition and developing intellectual sports on a global scale.
