The Moon Dance and Star teams from Mongolia were the only participants from Asia at the World Latin Dance Championship.
The WDSF World Formation Championship (Latin program) concluded on December 13, 2025, in Wiener Neustadt, with 20 teams from 11 countries participating.
Our teams Moon Dance and Star placed 3rd and 4th, thus setting a record for Mongolian sports dancing. The Austrian audience warmly welcomed them with a standing ovation.
The gold medal was won by the Grün-Gold-Club Bremen team from Germany, while the silver went to the Austrian HSV Zwölfaxing A-Team. The Ukrainian team Adagio took fifth place.
The Mongolian dancers surpassed the Austrian Sportunion FTSC Perchtoldsdorf - A Team, the Dutch Double V A Team, the British XS Latin Cambridge A Team, and the Polish Finezja Slawno.
