According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, in January 2025, the price of gold reached $2711.28 per ounce. From that point on, the price of this precious metal continued to rise, setting new historical records more than 50 times.
Goldman Sachs, the world-renowned investment bank headquartered in the USA, forecasts that in 2026, the average price of gold will increase by 6 percent, reaching $4900 per ounce.
