According to him, the changes in pension amounts occurred as follows:
- in 2022 — by 33 percent;
- in 2023 — by 38 percent;
- in 2024 — by 18 percent;
- in 2025 — by 12 percent.
Aliyev also added that in 2021, the budget of the Social Fund for pensions was 52 billion soms, and since then it has increased by 64 billion soms.
These figures were a response to the questions from deputies about why the planned pension increase for 2026 is only 7 percent instead of a more significant 10 or 15 percent.
Earlier, Bakhtiyar Aliyev reported that a 7 percent increase in pensions is expected for 2026, for which 1 billion 200 million soms has been allocated.
