Out of nine social products
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev reported that in 2024, the volume of agricultural production amounted to 395 billion soms, which corresponds to a growth of 106.2%. For the 11 months of 2025, this figure increased to 437.4 billion soms, representing a growth of 102%.
He emphasized that the population is fully self-sufficient in six out of nine socially significant products: these are milk, potatoes, vegetables, meat, eggs, and sugar.
“In 2024, 1 billion soms were allocated for irrigation, and for the 11 months of 2025 — 1.7 billion soms. Currently, construction and restoration work is being carried out on 10 facilities of the BSR and BDR, and design work is underway on 24 facilities,” added Kasymaliev.
Additionally, he noted that for 2026, plans are in place to provide clean water to 45 villages and three cities.
