The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev shared plans for the upcoming year
During his speech at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, he reported that in the aviation sector, airports are actively investing in the acquisition of aircraft using their own funds.
Three aircraft have already been purchased for a total of 2.385 billion soms.
“Next year, the arrival of a Q400 aircraft is expected, and there are plans to purchase two Airbus A321. A total of 8.4 billion soms has been allocated for the modernization of domestic airports. There are 11 certified airports operating successfully in the republic,” he emphasized, adding that airports represent “Kyrgyzstan's window to the world.”
