- In Rostov-on-Don, local residents and monitoring Telegram channels report explosions and active air defense operations. The city's mayor, Alexander Skryabin, stated that several apartment buildings were damaged as a result of the strike.
- On January 13, Russia struck 15 critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
- In Kryvyi Rih, authorities reported damage to infrastructure and urged citizens to stock up on water and charge mobile devices. As a result of the attack, 45,000 people were left without electricity, and over 700 homes were without heating.
- One person was killed as a result of a Russian strike on Starovarvarivka in the Donetsk region.

- In the Shebekino district of the Belgorod region, one person was also killed as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone.
- The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) reported the exposure of the head of one of the factions in the Verkhovna Rada in a corruption case. According to media reports, this concerns Yulia Tymoshenko.
- On January 15, at Ukraine's initiative, a meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will take place to discuss "Russian strikes and disregard for peace efforts led by the United States."
- The Verkhovna Rada decided to dismiss Vasyl Maliuk from the position of head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
- The candidacy of former Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal for the position of Minister of Energy was not supported by the Verkhovna Rada. The vote to appoint former Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov as Minister of Defense also failed.
- In the Black Sea, drones attacked two oil tankers waiting to load Kazakh oil at the terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).
