- Negotiations took place in Miami between Russian President's Special Representative Kirill Dmitriev and representatives of Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation, also met with American delegates to discuss a new version of the peace plan. Following the meetings, Umerov and Witkoff issued similar statements emphasizing Ukraine's commitment to a just and lasting peace. Witkoff noted that negotiations with the Russian side were "productive and constructive."
