At the same time, Ushakov did not specify which version of the agreement he was referring to, particularly the one discussed in Geneva between the delegations of the United States and Ukraine. Currently, none of the plan's options have been officially presented, and various versions of it are published only in certain media outlets.
"There are many rumors surrounding the peace plan for Ukraine, and Russia considers only the information that comes directly from the United States," the state agency TASS quoted him as saying. Ushakov also noted that Moscow "is familiar with one of the options of the peace plan from the United States, however, specific negotiations on this issue have not been conducted," adding that "many provisions of the document discussed in Alaska may be acceptable to Russia." He suggested that Washington may initiate contact with Moscow in the near future to discuss the details, but "so far no specific agreements have been reached." At the same time, Ukraine and Europe were not mentioned as potential participants in the negotiations.
Earlier, White House press secretary Caroline Levitt stated that the updated plan would need to be presented to Russia again. She also noted that a meeting between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, is not planned for this week.
Recall that on November 21, the plan of the Donald Trump administration to end the war in Ukraine, consisting of 28 points, was made public. Leaders of EU countries, as well as Canada and Japan, criticized this plan, pointing out the unacceptability of several of its points and the need for revision. This was discussed on November 23 at a meeting of representatives from the EU, the United States, and Ukraine in Geneva, after which some sources reported that Trump's plan had been reduced from 28 to 19 points, but without providing specific information.
