During an online briefing on December 8, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that work on an updated version of the U.S. peace plan is being carried out by national security advisors from both Ukraine and European countries. It is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday. This information was conveyed through "European Truth."

As Zelensky noted, the initial plan has been reduced from 28 to 20 points. However, some important issues, such as territorial disputes, post-war recovery, and security guarantees, remain unresolved.

The president added: "We had productive discussions in London... We are seeing progress on each of the stages, starting from the first plan and ending with the current one that has been discussed with European partners. There are small movements toward a possible resolution of the conflict."

Zelensky also reported that work is underway on a version brought from Miami by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov. The document is expected to be ready by the evening of December 10 and will be sent to the U.S.

On Monday, Zelensky met in London with the leaders of Germany, the United Kingdom, and France — Friedrich Merz, Keir Starmer, and Emmanuel Macron. Later, the Ukrainian president wrote on social media platform X that during the negotiations, issues of security, the country's recovery, and further defense support were discussed, thanking partners for their willingness to continue assistance and participate in the peace process.
