During the meeting, the delegation discussed that the next steps towards a peace agreement would depend on Russia's willingness to demonstrate a serious commitment to sustainable peace, including necessary measures for de-escalation and cessation of violence, as stated by the State Department.

The State Department also clarified that the parties defined the "framework of security measures" and discussed tools for ensuring sustainable peace, as well as issues related to the reconstruction of Ukraine.
