Matthew McConaughey, the renowned actor, has received approval from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to register eight trademarks related to his popular personas. This move is aimed at protecting his appearance and voice from being used in content created with artificial intelligence, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Among the registered trademarks are videos of the actor standing on a porch, as well as a three-second clip featuring him in front of a Christmas tree. Additionally, an audio recording of his iconic phrase "Alright, alright, alright," spoken in the 1993 film "Dazed and Confused," is also protected.

Recently, the actor granted ElevenLabs the right to use his voice for Spanish-language news narration, while he is also an investor in the organization.
