As a result of operational actions carried out by local authorities, one of the couriers—a senior man—was detained, and drugs were found on him. During the investigation, other members of the group were identified. One detainee had 5 grams of drugs seized, while another had cash. During a search of the house of the alleged group leader, a significant quantity of prohibited substances was found: 12 packages of opium weighing over 12 kilograms, as well as devices for its consumption.
