The IRGC urged employees of these companies in the region to leave their workplaces immediately and local residents to evacuate nearby areas, as “companies involved in terrorist acts will be subject to retaliation for each killing.” They added that “from 8:00 PM on April 1, Tehran time, these companies should prepare for the destruction of their divisions in response to each killing in Iran.”
CNN notes that while the US may conclude its military actions against Iran in the coming weeks, restoring shipping through the Strait of Hormuz will take much longer.
