According to reports from the prosecutor's office, during an inspection, the supervisory authority of the district found that the reservoir, located in the village of Aral of the Sary-Özön rural administration and covering an area of 12.3 hectares, had been transferred to private hands in 2005-2006 in violation of the law by the previous authorities of the Krupskaya rural administration.
As a result of the prosecutor's actions, a perpetual state act was issued, which facilitated the return of the regulating reservoir to state ownership.
