In Kyrgyzstan, the General Prosecutor's Office has initiated actions against employees of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Center (CSESC) in Bishkek, who were caught imposing illegal fines on entrepreneurs instead of issuing proper warnings. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office.

As a result of the conducted inspection, it was established that the CSESC employees violated the Law "On the Procedure for Conducting Inspections of Business Entities." They applied illegal punitive measures during scheduled inspections, disregarding the law, which requires first issuing a written warning and then conducting a follow-up inspection.

Cases have been initiated against nine employees of the center under Article 436 of the Code of Offenses, concerning "Illegal Conduct of Inspections of Business Entities or Hindering Their Legal Activities."
The court ordered each of them to pay a fine of 15,000 soms.
Additionally, based on the representation of the General Prosecutor's Office, four department heads were held accountable for disciplinary action.
