In the Sokuluk district, according to the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan, a regulating reservoir worth 43 million soms has been returned.
This reservoir, covering an area of 12.3 hectares and located in the village of Aral of the Sary-Ozon rural administration, was transferred to private hands in 2005-2006 in violation of the legislation when it was managed by the former rural administration named after Krupskaya.
“Thanks to the actions of the prosecutor's office, a perpetual state act was formalized, which allowed this regulating reservoir to be returned to state ownership,” the official statement notes.
