According to the agency, when the driver was asked to present his documents, he began to behave inadequately: he threw a tantrum, struck himself, and even lay down on the road. At one point, he claimed that he had sustained bodily injuries from the actions of the police officers and even tried to simulate sleeping.
Despite the provocation, the officers of the Patrol Police Department acted within the law. A medical examination at a narcological institution confirmed that the driver had indeed consumed alcoholic beverages.
The vehicle was placed in a specialized impound lot, and a report on the violation was drawn up against the driver.
The Patrol Police Department also reminded all drivers of the importance of adhering to traffic rules to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
