At the championship, which featured four teams: Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka, the Kyrgyz women achieved victories over Nepal (3:2) and the Maldives (3:0) in the group stage, but suffered a defeat against the Sri Lankan team (0:3).

In the semifinals, our team managed to take revenge on the Sri Lankan volleyball players, winning with a score of 3:0. The final match, held on November 9, once again brought the Kyrgyz women face to face with Nepal. Despite a tense battle, the Kyrgyz women emerged victorious with a final score of 3:2 (22-25, 25-20, 25-21, 13-25, 15-11), earning them the title of tournament champions.

This victory in Colombo was a significant achievement for Kyrgyz volleyball and demonstrated that the country's young athletes are capable of successfully competing on the international stage.
