In the Naryn region, in the Ak-Tal district, the delivery of new equipment for filtering safflower oil, produced in Turkey, has been completed. This event was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.

As reported by private entrepreneur Akylbek Abdildaev, the delivery was made with the financial support of the UNDP project (UN Development Programme).

With the introduction of the new production line, the enterprise will be able to produce up to 800 kilograms of safflower oil per day. Currently, the installation of the equipment is underway, and soon the company will begin full operation.

Previously, this enterprise produced only 50 liters of oil per day, focusing on individual orders. Since its opening in the fall of 2023, 5 tons of safflower seeds have been processed, and in 2024, it is planned to process more than 10 tons.

Currently, the price of one liter of safflower oil is 200 soms.

The launch of the new equipment will create additional prospects for the growth of the processing industry in the region and will support local producers,” the official statement notes.
