
Sadyr Arzymat uulu — an outstanding Kyrgyz leader of the 18th century
The monument was erected in honor of the upcoming celebrations dedicated to the 310th anniversary of his birth, which are being held this year on the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Historians assert that Sadyr Arzymat uulu played a key role in the relocation of the Sayak clan from Ketmen-Tobo to Talas. He supported the initiative of Esengul Bolot uulu, which contributed to the strengthening of Kyrgyz tribes and the maintenance of unity during a difficult period.
The anniversary events dedicated to the memory of Sadyr Khan will continue. Researchers are also engaged in collecting and analyzing data about his life and activities to more fully reflect his contribution to the history of the country.
A monument to Sadyr Khan has been erected in Toktogul.
