The director of the memorial museums of Bishkek, Arman Momakhanova, noted that Bazar Kul Omurkul uulu is a member of the Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan and has extensive exhibition experience not only in our country but also abroad, including in China and the USA. "We are happy to welcome everyone who wants to enjoy the art and bright colors of the master's works," she added.
According to the artist himself, these works serve as a kind of report to himself. "Sometimes you want to look at yourself from the outside and evaluate your creativity. Although it cannot be said that all the paintings are directly related to New York, the exhibition includes still lifes and landscapes. Nevertheless, he considers his main work to be a painting titled 'The Old Man and the Sea. A World in Glass,' which symbolizes the yearning of millions of people for peace and the cessation of wars," noted Omurkul uulu.
"New York is a city with incredible energy. People here are always in a hurry, and I wanted to capture that moment of life. Therefore, in my works, I used bright colors and a bit of haze, which symbolizes speed," shares the artist's thoughts.

At the opening of the exhibition, the artist's close friend, Talaybek Usubaliev, also attended and shared his thoughts on artists' love for travel. "He was so impressed by New York that he dedicated several of his works to this city. But being an artist in such a big city is no easy task, as the competition is enormous," Usubaliev noted.
He urged all Kyrgyzstani people to visit the exhibition and feel the atmosphere of New York: "In our artistic community, it is said that salon works are standard paintings. But there are none of those here," he added.
The exhibition will be open until January 12, 2026.
