On December 13, a ceremony took place at the National Historical Museum to officially transfer the KCRMS digital cultural resource management system.

The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov, who opened the event with a welcoming speech. Among the guests were also the Executive Director of the Asian Cultural Center (ACC), Kim Sang Wook, and a representative of the Korean Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, Kim Kwan Jae.

As part of this event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Asian Cultural Center, as well as a transfer act, marking the official acceptance of the KCRMS system by the ministry.

The initiative was launched in 2022 with the support of the Republic of Korea. The Center for Nomadic Civilization named after Kurmanjan Datka played an important role in its implementation, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage in digital format. Within the framework of the project, specialized archival rooms and studios were created in the museum for the digitization and storage of cultural values.

The KCRMS system will significantly improve the preservation of museum collections and provide easier access to cultural resources, which will be an important step in the development of the digital infrastructure of the cultural sector in Kyrgyzstan.
