New Year Tree at Ala-Too Square in Bishkek
In Bishkek, the main New Year tree is located at Ala-Too Square. An extensive festive area has been created here, including a 1,500 square meter ice rink, a food court, market stalls, a Santa's house, and various workshops.
And of course, there is the tree itself!
According to the city hall, "in 2025, Bishkek's main New Year tree features a minimalist design. The tree has a classic conical shape and is decorated with a dense artificial fir covering in dark green."
The concert venue in the square is always filled with performances; however, the tree is turned off at 11:00 PM, likely to save electricity.
New Year Joys in Talas
The opening of the New Year tree in Talas coincided with the completion of the restoration of the central square, and the freshly fallen snow added magic to the festive atmosphere.
Osh and Its New Year Tree
In the Osh region, the New Year tree in the square rivals that of Bishkek, but it is decorated differently.
In Osh, there is also an ice rink and a small fair for everyone to enjoy.
Naryn Tree
In the central square of Naryn, near the administration, the New Year tree was lit in mid-December. Unfortunately, there are no additional decorations around it.
Manas and Its Candy Tree
In Manas, the New Year tree is decorated with large ornaments resembling candies, but unfortunately, no festive events are planned nearby.
Stars of Tokmok
Tokmok has also presented its New Year beauty, adorned with long garlands that create a festive atmosphere.
Batken and Its Lilac Tree
On December 17, a 20-meter tall tree was lit in Batken, located in the central square near the regional administration. Its color is lilac-purple, and the decorations are done in a modern style.
Karakoil: A Snowy Fairy Tale
In Karakoil, the New Year tree was lit on December 19. The tree and installations covered in snow created an atmosphere of a true celebration.
New Year installations are also set up in the square, where everyone can take photos with life-size characters.
