At the National Historical Museum, a monumental tapestry "Ulut Demi - Unguzhol" was presented

On December 25, as part of the People's Kurultai, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, unveiled this significant tapestry, which is the result of collaborative work under the guidance of the head of state.

The official presentation of the tapestry took place on December 27 and gathered a significant number of participants, including the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mirbek Mambetaliev, as well as representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan and the cultural community.

Edil Baisalov, speaking at the ceremony, noted that the tapestry, located on the grand staircase of the museum, symbolizes the unity of the multinational people of Kyrgyzstan and their love for their homeland. He expressed confidence that this work would become an important landmark for future generations.

The tapestry, symbolizing agreement and the continuity of cultural values, combines historical traditions and modern elements, as well as a vision for the future of the country. It is crafted in a unique author's technique of hand weaving and possesses high artistic value.

The project was developed by the renowned artist and honored figure of culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, A. A. Iskakova. The creation involved the best artists of the country, including the People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan, K. O. Orozmatov, as well as N. N. Innokentieva, Abai Nasiridin uulu, A. A. Arystanbekova, N. R. Askarbekova, Kymbat Urmatbek kyzy, A. M. Maeva, A. B. Junushova, A. N. Imanbekova, Shirin Tolkunbek kyzy, and T. N. Nurbekova.

The dimensions of the tapestry are 3.30 by 6.80 meters. It was created using the hand weaving technique with half-wool, acrylic, bamboo, viscose, and cotton. The process of its creation took ten months.

The tapestry now occupies a prominent place on the grand staircase of the National Historical Museum and has become an integral part of its exhibition. Additionally, a limited edition commemorative art sheet of 1,000 copies was released for the opening, which will be presented to the country's leaders, delegates of the People's Kurultai, as well as the authors and cultural figures.
