According to the museum, the main goal of the event is to present the results of many years of work on the study and preservation of artistic heritage. The book presentation will occur in the year of the 90th anniversary of the famous sculptor and artist Turgunbai Sadykov.
The book is available in two languages — Kyrgyz and Russian. Among the authors of the texts are Olga Yushkova, Anatoly Tsybukh, Rakhmat Asangulova, Alima Tokmergenova, and Baktygul Midinova.
The Osh Regional Museum of Fine Arts, founded in 2004, became the first professional center in the southern part of the country dedicated to visual arts. Currently, the museum houses a unique collection that includes painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative applied arts, featuring works by masters such as Gapar Aitiev, Olga Manuilova, Aman Asrankulov, Asanaly Beyshenov, Batyr Zhaliev, and many other renowned Kyrgyz artists.
