The ceremony began at the main Christmas tree located in Freedom Square (Azattyk). The president's representative addressed the children with congratulations on the upcoming New Year.
About 150 children from various districts of the region attended the celebration. Among the participants were honor students, orphans and half-orphans, children with disabilities, as well as children from needy families and families of servicemen who died in the line of duty, alongside winners of sports competitions.
After the congratulations, there was a performance of a theatrical fairy tale prepared by the creative team of the Barpy Kyrgyz Drama Theater. At the end of the celebration, the representative presented New Year gifts to all participants.
