This year, children from disadvantaged families, as well as half-orphans and full orphans, were selected for the event. Among them, 7 children are from the city of Talas, 6 from the Bakai-Ata district, 6 from the Aitmatov district, and 6 from the Manas district.
Accompanying the children to this New Year's event were Saltanat Beyshenova, the head of the Talas regional methodological center, school teachers, and social educators.
The festive event "Tree-2026" will take place with the participation of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and will include children aged 8 to 14 years.
The press service of the presidential representative office in the Talas region emphasized that the children sent to the tree belong to socially vulnerable categories and are excellent students.
This year, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic allocated a quota of 30 places for the Talas region.
