As local residents recount, at the moment the lights were turned on, it began to snow, adding a touch of magic to the event and creating a true New Year’s atmosphere.
The celebration program included concerts that helped create a bright and joyful mood for all attendees. The mayor of Karakol, Kanibek Adiev, also attended the event, congratulating everyone on the upcoming New Year and expressing his best wishes for peace, prosperity, and good luck.
“Together with the culture department and local businesses, we set up this tree and today we solemnly lit its lights. I urge all residents to come to the central square, spend time with their families, and enjoy the celebration. May all your wishes come true in the new year,” noted the mayor.
