According to information from the local police, the current number of vacationers visiting the resort ranges from 3,500 to 4,500 people daily.
In connection with the increasing flow of tourists, law enforcement agencies have strengthened security measures, organizing duty shifts to maintain public order. Police officers ensure a constant presence in the resort area and conduct preventive measures to prevent offenses and emergency situations.
The police assure that full safety is currently guaranteed for all tourists arriving from both the internal regions of Kyrgyzstan and other countries. Efforts are being made to explain safety rules to citizens.
According to the Traffic Safety Department of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, in the 2024-2025 season, there are no issues with traffic jams, however, the flow of vehicles towards the ski resort remains significant. As of January 3, 2025, about 1,000 vehicles entered the resort, and on January 4 — 1,100.
The lack of parking spaces at the resort forces tourists to leave their cars along the main road, as there are not enough parking lots near the entrances to the resort.
Every year during the New Year holidays, traffic jams occur at the ski resort. For example, this was observed in early January 2024.
In 2024-2025, the road leading to the ski resort was reconstructed. The length of the road from Karakol to the resort is 7.1 km, and its width has increased to 6 meters after the renovation.
