In the Traffic Safety Department of the Issyk-Kul region, it was reported that no one was injured as a result of the incident. They also added that the road services and law enforcement agencies in the Ak-Suu district would take additional measures to ensure safety on this section of the road.
According to the department's information, "The road is being cleared of snow and treated with inert materials; however, due to heavy snowfall, there was a lack of special equipment. Traffic has now been restored." The department also urged motorists to adhere to traffic rules and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
When asked about the number of registered accidents at the ski resort "Karakol" since the beginning of the season, the department responded that no official cases had been recorded.
